Krafty Snowflakes

Hi Stampers!

Todays card is another of the stamp club projects we made Tuesday. It is just Kraft cardstock with the snowflake stamped in versamark. I totally copied the sentiment from a project we did at convention, but my stampers LOVED the idea. That's the plan...right?!

The designer paper is from the Thoroughly Modern paper pack.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Oops!

Oops, I forgot to "schedule" my Autumn Pheasant post, and posted it immediately instead. Now you get two posts for the price of one! Enjoy!!

Autumn Pheasant

Hi Stampers,

This is a project we made at my stamp club in July.

Most of you have never seen my home, but if you have, you KNOW that I love, Love, LOVE pheasants! I think they are one of the most beautiful birds I've ever seen! Needless to say that when I saw this stamp set, I knew I had to have it. It doesn't hurt that it's sorta masculine, and we are always looking for ways to create masculine cards.

This is a gift card holder. I tried to take a picture of the inside showing the envelope, and about the time I snapped the photo, the batteries died in my camera. You can use your imagination here, but the inside is an envelope cut in half. There are two pockets, (from the envelope) that will hold a gift card and a note, or whatever you'd like. The frame on front, with the pheasant, is only adhered with dimensionals at the bottom, then the flap at the top with the designer paper sits perfectly behind the image. I hope you like it.

Thanks for checking in today. Come back again!

So Glad

Hi Stampers!
Thanks for stopping by today. I am such a slacker about posting, but, to focus on the positive....I'm here now!

This is one of the cards we'll be making at my stamp club tonight. It's very simple, yet very pretty. I'm not sure about that stark vanilla circle punch, but I'm not quite sure what to do about it.

This card uses the new Bermuda Bay cardstock and ink for the Medallion stamp. Then I used markers for the So Glad stamp. Dont ya love those corduroy buttons? I do! I think things are basically self explanatory here, but if you have any questions, leave a comment and ask.

I've got a few more projects scheduled to post, so hopefully it wont be EONS before you see something again.

Have a Great Day everyone!

Convention 2009

Hi Stampers!

Wow...it's been a while since I've posted, but I've got TONS of great ideas and inspiration since I got home from Stampin' Up! convention 2009.

I'll give you a quick rundown of our whirlwind of events over the last week.

Tuesday--Fly from Kansas City to Salt Lake City. Now, I am scared to death of flying, but the result of being in Salt Lake was so worth it.

Wednesday--wake up early, (early for me), get our Convention bags, WhooHoo, stand in line for 3 hours to get in to Memento Mall.

Thursday--My Digital Studio, My Digital Studio, My Digital Studio! How exciting! Stampin' Up! announced to us earlier this year that we would be getting this fantastic program to create scrapbook pages and cards. After seeing the demonstration of how it works, I CANT WAIT! It's not quite available yet, but as soon as it is, it will be in my hands! This is just the thing to take me back to scrapbooking. Just wait till you see it in action!
Build A Bear-Stampin' Up! has an exclusive partnership with Build A Bear. You'll see more of this in the Ocassions mini catalog, but let me tell you that I was one of the lucky winners of TWO stamp sets and the BAB designer series paper! Ahhhhhh, the "green bubbles" wristband was a winner!!

Friday--Shelli showed us some fantastic projects and Christmas gifts of jewelry using Stampin' Up! stamp sets and accessories! Too cool! Demonstrator Theatre showed us TONS of projects and gave great ideas.

Saturday--Mainstage speaker Belinda Ellsworth was outstanding! She gave us TONS of ideas and inspiration to help us achieve the business we want, and was quite entertaining to listen to! After lunch, we watched the annual Game Show. This year was Demo Duel, ( a Family Fued spinoff). That was absolutely hilarious, and gave the demonstrators selected to play a great prize package!

Sunday--Yet another dreadful flight today...but being home with my family was Oh, so worth it!

My camera doesn't do the best job, so I'm only showing you a group photo today. When I get more pictures from the other girls, I'll show more!

Thanks for stopping by today! Happy Stampin'!
